Lost Diver
DiverHighDive brief to include maximum dive time and method of diver recovery. Ensure all divers have a DSMB.Call coastguards. Start search after all other divers recovered. Brief all crew to keep a good lookout. Use binoculars to improve vision.
Diver Trips on Deck
DiverMediumSafety brief to include handholds and trip hazards on boat. Cancel dive if conditions adverse. Keep divers BLS skills current.If diver injured then asses injuries and perform first aid as necessary. Make a PAN or Mayday call if required. Prevent casualty entering the water if injured.
